This two-year fellowship supports graduate students conducting collaborative research at one of 30 national estuarine research reserves. Fellows address key coastal management needs through cross-disciplinary projects, gain professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities, and build partnerships between universities and reserves. Funding up to $45,000 supports stipend, supplies, travel, and tuition.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled full-time in a graduate program at a U.S. accredited university, pursuing a master's or doctoral degree, and plan to be enrolled for the fellowship duration.
