The Artist Publishing Cohort supports eight artists with publishing projects by providing a $1,000 stipend, bi-weekly writing workshops for feedback and accountability, and access to aLP's extensive resources including guest lectures, archives, and a supportive network. The cohort runs January to May 2026 and is designed for artists preparing novels, memoirs, monographs, or poetry books for digital, self, or traditional publication.
Eligible applicants are visual, choreographic, performing, and interdisciplinary artists over 18 whose primary training is outside creative writing. They must be US work-eligible and actively working on a publishing project featuring their own creative work.
