The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship awards $8,000 unrestricted cash grants to artists living in New York State or its Tribal Nations. It supports 15 disciplines over a three-year cycle, funding artists' vision or voice at all development stages. The fellowship is not project-specific and allows collaborations of up to three artists, each meeting eligibility criteria.
Applicants must be 25 or older, residents of New York State or its Tribal Nations for at least two consecutive years, not enrolled in degree programs, original creators of their work, and not recent fellowship recipients. Collaborations up to three artists are allowed if all meet criteria.
