The Lloyd Sherwood Grant offers two $3,000 awards and one full-time class for the regular school year to students specializing in abstract painting or mixed media. It excludes past recipients of the Kuniyoshi, Sherwood, Brody Gaston, or Barnet Grants in these fields, focusing on supporting emerging artists in these disciplines.
Eligibility is limited to students of abstract painting or mixed media. Applicants who have previously received the Kuniyoshi, Sherwood, Brody Gaston, or Barnet Grants in these areas are not eligible.
