Youth Arts Engagement Grants fund arts learning projects for young people ages 24 and under that occur outside traditional school hours. Projects must provide sequential, hands-on learning in disciplines like dance, music, theatre, and visual arts in safe, youth-centered settings such as arts venues, community centers, and schools. Eligible applicants include Arizona nonprofits, schools, and government units. Grants cover artist fees, materials, travel, and evaluation within the fiscal year.
Open to Arizona nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status, schools or school districts, and units of government. Unincorporated groups may apply via a nonprofit fiscal sponsor.
