This grant supports Icelandic master's students enrolled at Icelandic universities to study for one academic year in the United States. All fields are eligible except medicine and programs involving unsupervised patient contact. Applicants must be Icelandic citizens without US citizenship or green card. Applications are submitted via the Slate system with printed copies and direct recommendation submissions. The grant amount is $10,000. Recipients travel on J-1 visas and must comply with the two-year home residency requirement.
