The program funds domestic and international collaborations, including partnerships with Germany, France, Israel, Japan, Spain, and multilateral projects. Open to domestic and international researchers with specific partner country guidelines. US investigators may serve as PI or co-PI on only one proposal involving Spain per review cycle. Additional eligibility varies by partner agency.
