Supports projects where students provide cybersecurity services like penetration testing or cyber risk analysis to Virginia small businesses or nonprofits in the same county as their institution. Projects must last at least one month during an academic term, with students as primary paid service providers. Proposals must align with workforce development goals and be submitted as a single PDF via email.
Eligible applicants are researchers and faculty at public Virginia higher education institutions authorized to serve as PIs. Each researcher may participate on up to two proposals and submit one as PI.
