Grants up to $15,000 support museums and not-for-profits in maritime heritage projects including collection management, conservation, vessel restoration, exhibitions, education programs, and skill development through the Maritime Museums Administrators' Course. Smaller grants up to $3,000 fund staff and volunteer training to enhance museological skills.
Eligible applicants are museums and other not-for-profit organizations focused on maritime heritage and museum collections.
