The Myrna F. Bernath Fellowship provides up to $2,500 to defray research costs for women, nonbinary, and trans scholars studying U.S. foreign relations history. Preference is given to graduate students and early career scholars within five years of PhD completion. Applicants must be SHAFR members and conduct research in the United States. Awarded biannually and announced at the SHAFR conference.
