Supports Mississippi organizations to expand creative aging programs for adults 55 and older. Grants fund hands-on, sequential arts learning led by professional artists to enhance mental alertness, emotional fulfillment, physical activity, and reduce isolation. Funding priorities include first-time applicants and underserved counties. Eligible costs cover artist fees, supplies, travel, and accessibility. Projects must conclude by June 30, 2028, with a required one-to-one cash and in-kind match.
Eligible applicants are Mississippi-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits, local government units, libraries, or county/municipal agencies. Individuals and educational institutions are not eligible. Applicants cannot fund the same project if receiving certain other grants.
