This supplement provides up to $6,000 per student to support independent research projects in cultural anthropology for graduate and undergraduate students. It encourages faculty mentorship and collaborative research activities. Requests must follow NSF guidelines and include student research summaries and mentor endorsements. IRB approval is required for human subjects research. Annual deadline is March 1, with some flexibility for other submission times.
Eligible applicants are U.S. Institutions of Higher Education submitting requests on behalf of faculty with active NSF awards. The PI must be currently serving as PI or co-PI on an NSF grant.
