This award supports minority students and emerging leaders in marriage and family therapy by providing scholarships up to $3,000, travel reimbursements, plaques, and waived registration fees for AAMFT events. Eligible applicants include diverse ethnic, linguistic, and disability groups who are early-career members of AAMFT. Preference is given to COAMFTE students or graduates. The award promotes recruitment, training, and retention of minorities in the field.
Eligible applicants are U.S. citizens or permanent residents who identify as minorities or underrepresented groups. Applicants must be Pre-Clinical Fellows, Students, or Clinical Fellows with less than five years membership. Preference given to COAMFTE students or graduates.
