Community Arts Project grants fund contracted costs for arts activities between June and July that engage underserved or rural communities lacking arts access. Eligible projects include new or expanding community arts events such as performing arts, visual arts, and multi-disciplinary programs. Grants help cover art-related costs to foster community engagement through the arts.
Eligible applicants are communities lacking access to arts, especially in rural areas. Organizations must apply 60 days before their event and may receive only one CAP grant per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).
