This funding supports economic development activities that create or retain jobs principally benefiting low and moderate income persons. Grants up to $1,000,000 per community are available for projects meeting cost and participation limits. Eligible activities include traditional job creation projects and non-traditional activities benefiting LMI persons. Multi-jurisdiction applications are allowed with combined funding limits. Oversight and recapture provisions apply to loan or lease repayments.
Eligible applicants are all cities and counties except designated entitlement areas. Multi-jurisdiction applications allowed with combined funding limits per jurisdiction.
