Creative Unrestricted offers unrestricted funding to Manhattan-based individual artists, collectives, and small- to mid-sized arts organizations with budgets under $250,000. It supports performing arts disciplines including dance, music, theater, and multidisciplinary performance. Funds may be used to strengthen organizational capacity, administrative infrastructure, or conditions for high-quality artistic work.
Eligible applicants are Manhattan-based individual artists, artist collectives, and small- to mid-sized arts organizations with annual budgets under $250,000 working in performing arts fields. Visual, media/new media, and literary arts exclusively are not eligible.
