The ICSSR Senior Fellowship 2026-27 provides financial support for full-time research over two years to experienced Indian researchers with significant contributions in social sciences. It covers 32 broad research areas including economics, political science, sociology, gender studies, public health, environmental studies, and media studies, enabling scholars to advance their projects, books, and publications.
Applicants must be Indian citizens aged 45 to 70 with a PhD and affiliated with an eligible institution. The fellowship targets experienced researchers with significant contributions in social sciences.
