This grant supports highest state courts in assessing and improving adult guardianship and conservatorship proceedings. Funded activities include evaluating fairness, effectiveness, timeliness, safety, integrity, and accessibility, implementing necessary reforms, and developing systems to simplify filing and detect fraud and exploitation of protected persons.
Eligible applicants are the highest state courts as authorized by the Elder Justice Act Section 2042(b). State governments only; foreign entities are not eligible.
