Capacity Building Grants support nonprofit organizations in Michigan's Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties to strengthen organizational infrastructure. Funded activities include board governance, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, technology planning, leadership development, staff training, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Applicants must commit organizational resources and have at least one paid staff member.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and other entities benefiting residents of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties, Michigan. Applicants must provide revenue and expense statements for the past two fiscal years.
