This funding supports youth-led initiatives in New Bedford that build leadership and civic engagement among youth ages 14 to 22. Grants fund projects addressing community health priorities including substance use, mental health, violence, economic security, transportation, and housing. Eligible 501c3 organizations or fiscally sponsored entities with a physical presence in New Bedford may apply for grants ranging from $50,000 to $355,000 over one to two years.
Eligible applicants are 501c3 public charities or fiscally sponsored by one, headquartered in Eastern Massachusetts with a physical presence in New Bedford. Youth ages 14 to 22 are the focus of funded activities.
