This competition invites senior cardiothoracic surgery residents and congenital heart surgery fellows worldwide to present clinical or investigative research via posters and mini oral presentations at the Annual Meeting. Participants submit brief abstracts and may present original or previously presented work. Selected posters may be published in the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. Winners receive monetary awards and certificates.
Open to senior residents in their final year of accredited cardiothoracic surgery or congenital heart surgery fellowship programs in the US, Canada, or at AATS Member institutions internationally. One thoracic and one cardiac submission per institution allowed.
