The Resident Case Report Competition invites cardiothoracic surgery residents worldwide to submit original case studies for presentation at the AATS Annual Meeting. Participants prepare brief abstracts and mini oral presentations. Selected candidates receive travel funding and awards, with opportunities to publish in JTCVS Techniques. Case reports accompanied by videos are preferred. Eligibility is limited to residents in accredited programs or final-year trainees at AATS Member institutions.
Eligible applicants are cardiothoracic surgery residents enrolled in accredited programs in North America or in their final year at an AATS Member institution internationally. One cardiac and one thoracic candidate per institution may apply, with only one submission allowed per candidate.
