Comfort in Care™ funding supports frontline health care teams in NL Health Services’ Eastern Urban Zone to implement practical, patient-centred initiatives. Funded projects improve comfort, dignity, emotional well-being, independence, communication, and connection through adaptive tools, sensory supports, therapeutic resources, patient-centred technology, and other innovative solutions that enhance the care experience for patients, residents, and families.
Eligible applicants are NL Health Services staff working within facilities and programs supported by the Health Care Foundation in the Eastern Urban Zone. Applicants must be part of frontline health care teams.
