This grant supports philosophy conferences and workshops held in the UK and Ireland, including online events. Funding covers costs such as accommodation, subsistence, room hire, travel (excluding international flights), and accessibility expenses for delegates with disabilities. Only open, thematically coherent, and philosophically innovative conferences are eligible. Interdisciplinary conferences with substantial philosophical content are also considered. Applications are one-off with no long-term funding.
Grants are for conferences open to all and held in the UK or Ireland. A maximum of three awards per institution per year. Conferences must be philosophically innovative and thematically coherent.
