Supports projects that add value to Missouri agricultural products and foster rural economic development. Grants cover feasibility studies, marketing studies, and development of value-added agricultural business concepts. Funding covers up to 90% of eligible expenses with a maximum award of $200,000. Applicants must provide a Commitment to Purchase letter for tax credits and a minimum 10% cash match.
Applicants must be individuals at least 18 years old and legal Missouri residents, or groups/businesses related to agriculture based in Missouri. Recipients must prove citizenship, identity, residence, and enrollment in E-verify.
