The Alternative and Clean Energy Program (ACE) provides grants and loans to support the development, construction, and utilization of alternative and clean energy projects within the state. Funded activities include infrastructure for compressed natural gas and liquefied natural gas fueling stations, as well as energy efficiency and conservation projects. Applicants must provide matching funds equal to the program funds awarded and pay a non-refundable application fee.
Eligible applicants include businesses, economic development organizations, political subdivisions such as municipalities, counties, and school districts within the state.
