The Stevan B. Dana Scholarships provide eight $2,000 awards to support participation in archaeological excavations at Hazor and other sites in Israel during 2027. Applicants must apply for both the scholarship and excavation participation, join ASOR or be enrolled at an ASOR-member school, and submit a post-fieldwork report. Scholarships support direct fieldwork expenses and prioritize applicants for specific Hazor excavations or other Israeli digs.
