This funding supports the development and expansion of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness or with institutionalization history. It enables providers to house vulnerable populations without preconditions, offers subsistence allowances, landlord incentives, and funds case management and administrative costs to promote recovery and community integration.
Eligible applicants are single-person households diagnosed with serious mental illness, meeting income limits, and belonging to specified target populations including consent decree class members, diversion program participants, homeless PATH participants, or forensic services patients.
