This fellowship supports intensive advanced Turkish language study at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul during summer 2027. The program offers the equivalent of one academic year of college-level Turkish, including daily classes, lab, conversation hours, and cultural lectures. Fellowships cover airfare, tuition, fees, and a maintenance stipend for U.S. students and scholars with high-intermediate proficiency.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents enrolled in or affiliated with academic institutions as students or faculty. A minimum B average and high-intermediate Turkish proficiency are required.
