HELP-Link Workforce Development Grants support Montana employers in defraying costs associated with hiring or employing eligible lower income workers. Funded expenses include wage supplementation, training and testing, healthcare insurance, and necessary work-related tools or attire. Grants provide up to $5,000 per eligible employee to improve employment opportunities and financial security.
Employers operating in Montana and registered with the Montana Secretary of State (or legally exempt) who employ eligible employees may apply. State government, temporary agencies, and HELP-Link contractors are not eligible. Applicants must submit a W-9 form to receive payment.
