The Royce Fellowship supports Brown undergraduates conducting independent community-engaged research projects across the U.S. and internationally. Fellows receive a stipend and up to $2,000 for summer research, participate in cohort meetings and workshops, and present their findings. The program fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and provides lifetime membership in the Society of Royce Fellows.
Open to Brown undergraduates from all concentrations with faculty or community mentor support. Must reside at Brown for at least one semester after summer research. International travel requires adherence to university protocols and excludes certain countries.
