This grant funds community arts education programs for Preschool and K-12 students in South Carolina during summer 2027. Projects must expand access to arts education, complement state curriculum standards, and include quality instruction in visual, performing, media, design, folk/traditional arts, or creative writing. Eligible applicants include SC nonprofits, colleges, universities, and government units. Funds cover salaries, materials, scholarships, professional learning, and related costs within the grant period from May 1 to June 26, 2027.
Eligible applicants are South Carolina nonprofit organizations, colleges, universities, and government units with primary SC address and tax-exempt status. Schools, booster clubs, individual artists, and SC Arts Commission staff are not eligible.
