This grant supports Ohio businesses, local governments, and nonprofits to create or expand scrap tire processing capacity and product manufacturing or complete beneficial use projects incorporating ground tire rubber. Eligible costs include equipment, site improvements, tools, supplies, awareness materials, and contractor services. Projects must be completed within 24 months with a required 100% match and partnership with a government sponsor for businesses.
Eligible applicants include Ohio businesses (manufacturers, scrap tire recovery facilities, material processors), local governments, and nonprofits. Businesses must partner with a government sponsor and have no outstanding financial or environmental compliance issues.
