This grant supports organizations to implement the 988 Minnesota Lifeline Youth Peer Leader program, empowering youth and young adults to build supportive peer communities and promote mental health help-seeking. Funded activities include recruitment, onboarding, peer presentations, and program evaluation, targeting youth grades 9-12 and young adults 18-24, with preference for areas with higher youth suicide rates.
Eligible applicants include youth-serving organizations, peer-driven initiatives, youth collectives, advocacy teams, universities, Tribal and community colleges, young adult groups, and out-of-school programs. Tribal projects require Tribal government support.
