This program funds Utah's utility providers to improve and upgrade the electrical grid by adopting technologies that prevent outages and enhance resilience. Funding requires matching contributions based on annual electricity sales, supporting both large and small utilities in strengthening grid infrastructure.
Eligible applicants are Utah utility providers. Large utilities selling over 4 million MWh annually must match 100% of funds; small utilities selling less must match at least 33.34%.
