This grant supports Massachusetts farms in implementing capital improvements that enhance environmental performance, agricultural energy efficiency, and climate resilience. Funding is available for installation-ready equipment and infrastructure projects that protect natural resources and reduce energy use. Applicants must contribute a 20% cash match and complete projects by June 30, 2027. Maximum award is $50,000, and prior FY2027 Round I awardees are ineligible.
Applicants must be actively engaged in commercial agricultural production in Massachusetts and have operated continuously on the project property for at least three years. Previous FY2027 CSAP Round I awardees are not eligible.
