This internationally renowned Artist in Residence Program offers up to four visual artists annually the opportunity to live and create works inspired by Bernheim's natural environment. It includes residencies dedicated to artists living in Kentucky or nearby Southern Indiana and those addressing environmental issues such as climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and environmental justice.
Open to visual artists of all media. One residency is reserved for artists living in Kentucky or nearby Southern Indiana counties, and one for artists whose work addresses environmental and climate issues.
