This grant supports Franklin County communities that do not currently have curbside recycling carts by providing funding to purchase 65-gallon or larger wheeled carts with lids at a deep discount, typically 50% or more off the price. The program aims to enhance recycling infrastructure and promote waste diversion through improved access to recycling carts.
Eligible applicants are any communities within Franklin County that do not currently own curbside recycling carts.
