The Event Waste Reduction Grant provides reimbursement funding to help event organizers reduce waste and increase diversion through sustainable waste reduction, reuse, recycling, composting, and food donation activities. It also supports outreach and education efforts to raise public awareness about the importance of waste reduction and diversion at public, in-person events within central Ohio.
Eligible events must be in-person, open to the public, and occur within SWACO's jurisdiction in central Ohio. Invitation-only events are not eligible, but events charging admission may apply.
