The Community Waste Reduction Grant supports projects in Central Ohio that promote waste reduction, reuse, recycling, composting, food donation, and diversion education. Funding assists new or expanded sustainable programs that reduce recoverable materials sent to landfills, addressing local waste diversion needs within SWACO's jurisdiction.
Eligible applicants include local governmental and non-profit organizations such as cities, schools, universities, hospitals, and faith-based groups within SWACO's jurisdiction. Private-sector businesses are not eligible.
