The SWACO Scholarship Program awards $10,000 annually to one student pursuing higher education in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or solid waste management. Funds cover tuition, fees, and books at accredited colleges or universities within or connected to SWACO’s District, helping remove financial barriers for students preparing for careers in these fields.
Applicants must be graduating high school or GED students with at least 20 credit units, accepted to an accredited college or university, and reside within SWACO's District or attend a college within the district. They must pursue a relevant degree in environmental or engineering fields.
