The fellowship enables scholars worldwide to step away from professional duties for one year to conduct original, significant research and produce a publishable manuscript. Fellows reside at Hoover Institution, accessing its library, archives, and scholars, and present their research during the fellowship year from Sept 2027 to Aug 2028.
Applicants must hold or expect to complete a Ph.D. by September 2027 and have an established publication record or promising unpublished works. Scholars from colleges, universities, and institutions worldwide are eligible.
