This call funds transnational projects addressing antimicrobial resistance by modelling transmission dynamics, exploring host micro-organisms' roles, and developing tools to reduce resistant pathogens in environmental hotspots. Emphasis is on One Health settings with clear human health relevance, supporting prevention and control strategies to inform public authorities.
Eligible applicants are Irish researchers focusing on One Health settings under Topics 1 and 3 with clear relevance to human health. Applications under Topic 2 are not funded by HRB.
