The 2027 Grant Round supports UK-based researchers with PhD studentships and project grants focused on muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions. Funding covers 2-3 year projects up to £100,000 per year, 1-year proof-of-principle projects up to £30,000, and 4-year PhD studentships including stipends, fees, and consumables. Research areas include basic, pre-clinical, clinical studies, and social or psychological aspects such as quality of life and symptom management.
Principal applicants must be based in the UK. Each applicant may submit one application per grant type. Resubmission of one previous application is allowed.
