This grant funds summer research projects by medical students in areas important to interventional radiology and patient care. It provides salary support for projects testing new ideas or directions in research. Recipients must submit a final report and are encouraged to present their work at JVIR or the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting, acknowledging SIR Foundation support.
Open to undergraduates and medical students enrolled in MD, DO, or PhD programs in US and Canada. DACA recipients and permanent residents are eligible with proper documentation. A project advisor must be designated.
