CHRONOS Tier-0 funds one-year projects in all science fields that involve challenging, innovative research using highly parallel and scalable simulations. Proposals must demonstrate technical feasibility and scientific impact, requiring large computational resources. Applicants submit project proposals, CVs, and publication lists, with eligibility focused on academic researchers at postdoctoral level or above.
Eligible applicants are researchers at academic institutions holding at least postdoctoral positions. PhD students may apply only under supervision of a PI. International collaborations allowed if GPU use is proven and supported.
