This challenge funds projects that advance agriculture, forestry, water, land, and waste technologies from pilot to commercial deployment in Alberta. It supports scale-up, prototyping, field pilots, demonstrations, and first-of-kind commercial projects that improve productivity, reduce environmental impacts, and create economic opportunities within the province.
Open to a wide range of applicants including farmers, ranchers, SMEs, Indigenous communities, municipalities, research organizations, and individuals. Projects must be piloted, demonstrated, or deployed in Alberta and benefit the province.
