This funding opportunity supports innovative observational and intervention research aimed at understanding the pathways and mechanisms that lead to health and health care disparities among sexual and gender minority populations, especially those with minoritized racial, ethnic, and socio-economic statuses. Clinical trials are optional, and a broad range of U.S.-based organizations are eligible to apply. The goal is to advance knowledge that can inform interventions to reduce disparities.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S. government entities, educational institutions, nonprofits, for-profits, small businesses, tribal organizations, and regional organizations. Foreign entities and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
