This grant funds innovative research applying Super Intelligence and Machine Learning to advance NOAA's Earth system science and support hazard resilience. Proposals should address multi-annual to decadal prediction, hazard resilience decision-support information, or extreme heat predictions and preparedness. Eligible applicants include academic institutions, nonprofits, commercial organizations, Tribal governments, and federal agencies with appropriate legal authority. The program aims to accelerate innovation and improve decision-making for climate-related hazards.
Eligible applicants include institutions of higher education, nonprofits, commercial organizations, local and federally recognized Tribal governments, and certain federal agencies with legal authority for inter-agency fund transfers. Foreign or international institutions are not eligible.
