This program awards six $2,000 scholarships to support ASOR members or students participating as volunteers or staff on ASOR-affiliated archaeological excavation projects in summer 2027. Funds cover allowable direct expenses only. Scholarships cannot be deferred and depend on the continuation of excavation activities.
Applicants must be ASOR members or students at ASOR-member schools. Underrepresented groups may request membership waivers. Participation in an ASOR-affiliated excavation is required.
